Whether it's an executive portrait, and actor's headshot, or a fanciful environmental portrait of a quirky artist, I enjoy the technical and artistic challenge of capturing a person's essence in a way that suits their needs.

I shoot digital. I don't have fancy studio, nor do I want one. I'd rather shoot you at my home, or yours, or some natural environment. I prefer to use natural light when it's available, but I have no scruples about supplementing it when that makes you look better. To paraphrase Joe McNally, "The best light for the job is the one you have with you."
